The first training course of micro-root canal therapy started smoothly

On October 23, 2022, sponsored by the Institute of Optoelectronic Technology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chengdu CORDER Optics&Electronics Co., and jointly assisted by Chengdu Fangqing Yonglian Company and Shenzhen Baofeng Medical Instrument Co., Ltd. The training course was specially invited to teach by Professor Xin Xu, the chief physician of the Department of Dental and Dental Pulp Medicine, West China Stomatological Hospital, Sichuan University.

Root canal therapy is an effective method to treat pulp and periapical diseases. On the basis of science, clinical operation is particularly important for the results of treatment. Before all treatment starts, communication with patients is the basis for reducing unnecessary medical disputes, and the control of cross-infection in clinics is crucial for doctors and patients.

In order to standardize the clinical operation of dentists in root canal therapy, improve the work efficiency, reduce the fatigue of doctors, and provide more choices for patients to bring better treatment results, the teacher, with his years of clinical experience, led the students to learn modern standardized root canal therapy and solve all kinds of difficulties and puzzles in root canal therapy.

This course aims to improve the use rate of microscope in root canal therapy, improve the efficiency and cure rate of root canal therapy, effectively improve the clinical technology of dentists in the field of root canal therapy, and cultivate the standardized operation of dentists in the use of microscope in root canal therapy. Combined with the relevant knowledge of dentistry and endodontics and oral biology, combined with the theory, carry out the corresponding practice. It is expected that the trainees will master the standardized diagnosis and treatment technology of microscopic root canal disease in the shortest time.

The theoretical course will be studied from 9:00 to 12:00 in the morning. At 1:30 p.m., the practice course began. The students used a microscope to carry out a number of root canal related diagnosis and treatment activities.
